Commissions

 Email the following details to info@dreesefineart.com:

  • Name, Address, Phone Number
    • Desired painting size (specify orientation: horizontal, vertical, or square)
                            1-5 reference photos (if available)
    • Links to 2-5 Christi Dreese paintings that inspire you
    • Any additional thoughts or requirements for your commission painting
    • Colors you love and any you wish to avoid
Sign the commission contract that Christi will send you via email.
  1. Pay the commission price and shipping fees:
  2. The commission price is listed below.
  3. Shipping is approximately $120 within the U.S. (shipping costs may vary for larger paintings or shipping to Canada; customs fees are the responsibility of the collector). An estimate will be provided once the size is known.
  4. An invoice will be sent to you for secure payment via PayPal or credit card.
  5. Once the commission agreement is signed and paid for, no refunds are permitted.
  6. Christi will begin painting your piece, which typically takes 2-4 weeks to complete (drying times may vary).
  7. You will receive update photos around halfway through the painting process and a final photo upon completion. Approval or minor edits can be requested. Extensive edits (determined by the artist) may incur a 15% additional fee.
  8. Finally, your painting will be shipped to you!

Note the following details:

  • Christi specializes in landscapes, florals, and buildings, and does not paint humans, pet portraits, or in a different style.
  • All paintings are on gallery-wrapped canvas 1 1/2" deep. If framing is planned, Christi can paint on a 3/4" deep canvas at the same price. Let us know your preference.

All extra-large paintings will need special attention:

  • They either ship as rolled canvas, and the collector will need to bring them to their local framer to have them stretched onto bars, at an additional expense.
  • Or they can remain fully stretched if you can pick them up in person at the artist's studio in Michigan.
