Starting a Mural on Aluminum Panels | Michigan Mural Artist Process

Art has always been about more than what we see—it’s about how a space feels.

I’m beginning a new mural project here in Michigan, working on aluminum panels and preparing for a larger-scale installation. At this stage, materials are laid out and the design is coming together before the first marks are made.

As a contemporary impressionist painter, I enjoy exploring how my work can move beyond the canvas and into spaces like homes, businesses, and public environments. Projects like this allow me to think about art not just as a single piece, but as part of an overall environment.

Whether placed in a home, healthcare setting, or business, art has the ability to shape the experience of a space in a meaningful way. I enjoy collaborating with galleries, art consultants, interior designers, and collectors to place work in thoughtfully curated environments.

As this mural progresses, I’ll be sharing more of the process as it comes to life.

If you’re working on a space and looking for original artwork, murals, or custom pieces, I’d love to connect.
