"A Quiet Path to the Lake" came out of that feeling every West Michigan summer has — the moment you step between the pines, the dune grass brushing your legs, the sand soft and warm beneath your feet, and then suddenly there it is. Lake Michigan. That deep, impossible blue stretching all the way to the horizon.
I've walked that path a hundred times and it never gets old. I wanted to capture it at its most peaceful — no people, no noise, just the quiet that happens right before you reach the water.
