Ready for Artprize 2010?
We are getting ready to participate in Artprize once again. It was a spectacular turnout for Grand Rapids last fall. With all the people, art, and events going on downtown it actually felt like you were in Chicago. The venue registration has recently closed and now it is time for the artist’s to register. I have been thinking about what I am going to create this year for Artprize 2010. It makes you think on a grander scale. Bigger and Better. I actually have my idea and inspiration quote chosen for my large abstract piece. It will be tryptic. The overal size will be 11 feet x 5 feet. We will be posting the progress of the piece on our blog. So come back often. The fun is about to begin.

ACEO Turns Out To Be A Hot Item
I’ve created 12 new ACEO (Art Trading Cards) since I’ve sold 7 in the past few days. They are original, colorful, quirky, one-of-a-kind, small, and represent pieces of my artwork. I can even use the small paintings as a reference for a large future painting. 6 were sent out to a client in Idaho yesterday and 1 more is being mailed off to a customer in Arizona. A great way to market work and get my name out there.
